Users are advised not to switch with other alternative apps as Whatsapp is trying to convince

From the very first moment of the updated privacy policies by Whatsapp, the users are being very aggressive on Whatsapp and they are switching to alternative applications. Facebook-owned messenger has given a deadline to accept the new policies and now trying to convince the users not to switch to alternative applications.

The newest efforts of Whatsapp is to globally notify the users through Whatsapp statuses informing the users about the updated privacy policies and clearing the users regarding privacy revealing issues. The stories are revealing the same messages that it will not disclose the personal data of the users regarding contacts to Facebook.

As per the reports by Reuters, the headlines read on the front page that "WhatsApp respects and protects your privacy" — a buy that likely cost tens of millions of rupees, as in India, Whatsapp has the largest number of users.

It also states that the new policy will not affect the personal privacy of the user i.e. it will not disclose the personal messages with your family and friends with Facebook but only regarding the business chats. Furthermore, it is also not only cleared that what amount of metadata will it collects.

For the last few days, alternative applications like Telegram and Signal gained new users in a very huge amount. But on the other side, Whatsapp is trying to convince its users not to switch. It will be more grateful if Whatsapp reveals more information regarding updated privacy policies.
