A huge interruption has been reported by the users worldwide
from Signal. The
application is working and can be opened but the message cannot be sent at the
moment. The issue is been reported one hour ago at 8:30 pm IST on Friday
worldwide.
The application is showing some banner regarding this global
outrage which is a technical difficulty as soon as you open the Signal. Also, it
is mentioned that the team is been working to resolve the issue regarding this
outrage.
There is nothing mentioned that what the issue is about
but the most appropriate reason is the maximum number of users are switching
from Whatsapp after the updated privacy policies and signing to Signal. Nearly
17.8 million people downloaded the signal in the past seven days. The expansion had
been “vertical” in past few days the cofounder Brian Acton said who sell
Whatsapp to Facebook.
Acton said in an NDTV interview that India is really
awesome and what a strong representation has been given by the people here and
also if you build for India you build for the world as India become one of the most strongest market as maximum people downloaded Signal.
On January 6, the privacy updates are been announced by
Whatsapp where it was clearly mentioned that there is no choice left with the
users regarding the sharing of their data with Facebook. Later on, the company clarifies
that personal messages will not be revealed but only business accounts are
aimed.
As an outcome the Telegram and Signal apps have a big distortion. Signal becomes the number 1 messaging application in several markets. Signal CEO moxie Marlinspike tweeted that entire Signal team is been working late at nights to make Signal run smooth and error free
It was also said that the company is also working on the
improvement of the videos and group chats, which will result in making Signal
better than the other applications such as Whatsapp, Microsoft and many other
applications. On Wednesday this was also added that Signal is also hiring the
new staff for the management of the work and services.
