New YouTube Feature: Shopping can be done by watching Videos

A new interesting feature is being tested by YouTube in which users can buy any product they are watching in the video over there instantly from their place. The products can be easily been discovered by the viewer and they can directly shop by the YouTube featured videos. In the US very few users are being tested by the video-streaming feature through iOS, Android, and the Web. Some of the creators and influencers are been selected for this task and via shopping bag icon they can add particular products to their videos.

Few details are shared by the company which is owned by Google regarding this new feature which is under work on a Google support page. The viewers get all the information of buying and adding to cart of the product they see in videos says YouTube, and they are working with chosen creators.

In the bottom left corner of the video, the shopping bag icon will show up. This helps them to explore the product and know more about that along with the purchasing options.

Six years ago, Google Shopping ads are been shown to users by YouTube. With the help of these ads views can directly buy from the video.

Although, YouTube had started asking the creators to start using their software to track and tag any product which is specified in the videos reported by Bloomberg in October 2020. According to the report, all the data will be linked to Google’s shopping tools. It also said that the spokesman of YouTube had confirmed that only a few channels and influencers have control over particular products that are being displayed on the screen.

Last but not least, testing is the development of a similar idea and most probably this feature may come up to more number of users over the period of time by YouTube.
