Upcoming Redmi K40 is
expected to be launched by Redmi next month.
An informer from China has
revealed that this will further be including 2 models that are Redmi K40 and
Redmi K40 Pro.
Redmi also disclosed that it
will be coming with the Snapdragon 888 SoC which will costs 2,999 Yuan (~$463)
last week. The device will be shown up as Redmi K40 Pro is known by the rumors.
The informer also revealed
that another handset which will be coming soon is known as Redmi K40 and not
disclosed sub-flagship chipset will be featured. The cost is still not
revealed.
The prototype for Redmi K30
5G and Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphones were powered by Snapdragon 765G and
Snapdragon 865 chipsets accordingly. If Redmi K40 will be consisting of new
launching Snapdragon 7- series or the latest Dimensity chipset is still not
revealed and is officially scheduled today.
In Kernel source code of
Xiaomi Mi 11 the unrevealed Snapdragon chipset with part number SM7350 was
mentioned. It is being expected that may the particular part number will belong
to the new coming Snapdragon 7- series chip and this chip will be featured as
Snapdragon 775G.
The new MediaTek chips are
been talks so it is highly expected that MT6893 SoC will be announced as
Dimensity 1200 chip today and the lower substitute as Dimensity 1100 moniker will be disclosed
too.
