In Turkey advertising ban has been faced by Twitter, Periscope & Pinterest

 


In Turkey, social media companies have to appoint the representatives as per the law.

 

On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, as per the decisions published in the country’s Official Gazette,   under a new law of social media, Turkey's Information and Communication Technologies Authority has been forcing advertising bans on Twitter, Periscope and Pinterest

The law, which reviler states that it will restrain disagreement requires online media organizations to select neighborhood agents in Turkey. On Monday, different organizations are being joined by Facebook saying it would select a particular delegate.

A month ago, also Youtube, which is owned by Alphabet’s Google, stated that the representative is decided to be marked.

The Official Gazette decisions have mentioned that from Tuesday it will start to ban advertisement.  The decisions in the Official Gazette said the advertising bans went into effect from Tuesday. Twitter, its live-streaming app Periscope & Pinterest the image sharing application were not allowed to comment at the time.  

The law permits specialists to eliminate content from stages, as opposed to obstructing access as they did before. The move has caused worry as individuals go more to online stages after Ankara fixed its grasp on established media.

 For not obeying the law in Turkey, Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter had given fines in last month. All the companies that don’t obey this law will automatically have bandwidth rip off by 90 % and their access will be blocked originally.
