According to a report by MacRumors, new code in the second beta of the iOS 14.4 has been discovered that says repairing the iPhone cameras are not correct. The users don’t have to worry.
Allegedly, in the Setting application under
General> About. “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple camera”,
and even kind of similar notification will be received by the users on the Lock the screen of the fake device.
According to the report, it is not
mentioned if the fake camera of the iPhone will be affecting the usage of the
phone or not. Although, it can affect the battery and the display and give some
sort of warning but the device’s working cannot be affected by the iPhones fake
camera.
In the year 2019, a feature was
introduced by Apple for the iPhone 11 series in which a notification of warning
will be appeared by the device if the display is replaced or repaired by
your technician is genuine or not. Further, Apple also mentioned that the warning a notification which will appear on the device is not for reminding the user but
only instructive so that the user will be aware of the device as the reputation
of the company will not get affected.
In addition, Apple also mentioned that the
users are advised to go to the professional technicians of Apple authorized
service centers and not to the local centers if the users face any sort of
complain and the problem with the iPhone.
Back in 2018, a similar system of warning was introduced by Apple in selective devices such as
iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR, that notifies if the batteries are not genuine. With
the help of this, the device owners will receive the notification of fake
battery replacement and they can easily claim then.
Later this amazing feature has been introduced in
iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11
Pro Max.
