Quantum Operation New Wearable With a Blood Glucose Monitoring

 


Despite being a virtual event, CES 2021 is coming up with lots of new announcements.

Among these, a Japanese Startup says that it is wearable and without even piercing your skin it can monitor your Blood Glucose.

Quantum Operation Inc., has shown the model of this wearable which looks like any other Smartwatch. It tells in the highlights that it can monitor and measure the Glucose levels in Blood along with the heart rate and ECG. And all of this is possible because of the Spectrometer which is inbuilt.

This is a typical wristwatch and after wearing the user just has to press the monitoring option from the Menu. It will then tell after 20 seconds.

If you perform Blood Glucose monitoring then it needs a person to pierce his/her fingers or using the implanted monitor. But reportedly this model uses the principle of Raman Spectroscopy technique and have an inbuilt spectrometer which measures the glucose level and tell in seconds.

This whole theory is based on the light interaction with the chemical bonds of a material and works on that theorem. The technique finds its importance in Noninvasive glucose monitoring. According to the reports, the laser is passed through a fiber optic cable which monitors the Blood Glucose just by pressing it against the wrist is amazing.

There are many companies including Apple worked on this technique in the past. Also, Apple’s patent comes up with a similar concept which works on spectroscopy technique so, Quantum is not the only one to try on this idea. In a comparison between traditional flash glucose monitoring and Quantum Operation, it has many fluctuations.

If we just talk about this model, it will work and we can try but in the future, the company should work more regarding the perfectness if they are planning to make this solution works. On this, Quantum speaks up that it plans to sell this wearable to insurers, healthcare professionals and soon they will make a huge data platform to test the patients and make it more worthy.
