As
per an informer, the hint has been given that Mi Watch Lite has received the
Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification and will launch in India soon.
This smartwatch has already been launched internationally last month and now
about to launch in India. Mi Watch has a similarity with Redmi Watch and also
listed on BIS representing as “Redmi”. It further suggests that it may launch
in India as rebranded Redmi model.
This the latest smartwatch by Xiaomi will feature 11 workout modes including the battery
life of 9 days.
Certification
by Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) shows Mi Watch Lite with model number
REDMIWT02, via informer Mukul Sharma. Any other detail has not been revealed
yet. In India it will be launching
soon as internationally it was already announced last month with the strap
color options- Pink, Ivory, Olive, Navy Blue and Black.
Mi Watch Lite expected price in India
As it is known that Mi Watch Lite is a
rebranded variety of the Redmi Watch that was launched in China in the month of November at CNY 299 (roughly
Rs. 3,400). So it is being expected that the India price of the Mi Watch Lite is
to be similar.
Specifications and
features of Mi Watch Lite
1.4-inch (320x320 pixels) square LCD display offering 11 sports modes,
including cricket, open water swimming, indoor cycling, walking, and more. According
to the company the smartwatch has 5ATM resistance allowing it to work in up to
50 meters of water. It will also provide the monitoring of heart rate, sleep
and offers guided breathing exercises in addition.
This Xiaomi smartwatch has a 230mAh battery that will take a complete 2
hours to charge. The battery life is 9 days long and 10 hours on the continuous
GPS mode activation. Over 120 watch face options are available. Notifications
for calls, texts, music controls, and weather will be shown. It can also get
connected with Android and iOS smartwatches on downloading the supported
application.
