Eros Now has announced “The First Day, First Show”, has been announced by Eros which is a pay-per-view subdivision of its streaming service which will be offering Hollywood movies directly in India through its online platform.  Around 10 films are being released as part of Eros Now's “First Day, First Show” which will offer till next 18 months, initially with the Gerard Butler-led disaster film Greenland in March.

Each of the title will be available as part of Eros Now's premium video on demand section which will cost Rs. 149 per piece. There is no need for Eros Now subscription to access “First Day, First Show” titles. These movies arrive from the Hollywood studio STX Entertainment, which will later combine with Eros International to outline ErosSTX.

Doing as such, Eros Now turns into the second significant Indian streaming feature to debut the movies straightforwardly online. Back in October, Zee was the first to explore different avenues regarding this problematic model in India with Zee Plex. Studios have been much more forceful in developing markets, for example, The US. Independent titles have been routinely releasing on recompense per-see stages since the beginning of the pandemic last March. Disney offloaded the $200-million (about Rs. 1,456-crore) Mulan onto Disney+ Premier Access in September, and is set to do something very similar with the awaiting Raya and the Last Dragon.

AT&T-claimed WarnerMedia has gone above and beyond, debuting the total of its 2021 Warner Bros. titles on HBO Max as a feature of the membership management. In any case, while Disney and Warner Bros. will be offering their titles in films as well, Eros revealed to Gadgets 360 that all the "First Day, First Show" movies will "presently" just is offered on its streaming stage in India.

By the way, back in 2019 it was planned by Reliance Jio “First Day, First Show” was the name of the same scheme (although for the Bollywood films). A severe situation is faced due to the COVID-19 pandemic that would upset the theatrical model which is now taken a backseat. Studios are more flexible to test the strategies. It's a topic that most of Eros Now's “First Day, First Show” titles would probably not get the Indian release to initiate.
